Our Program
- Individuals develop literacy, math, computer and communication skills.
- A life skills program including cooking, shopping, housekeeping and community outings.
- Participants look forward to completing woodworking projects, designing hand made cards and developing artistic talents.
- Clients enjoy a fitness room, outdoor activities and group sports.
Crossing All Bridges offers a structured learning centre which is enriched and meaningful for adults with intellectual disabilities. The program is set up in small groups of individuals that rotate through a variety of engaging activites:
- A life skills program that includes meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, housekeeping, gardening and laundry.
- Academic programs including math, money and budgeting skills, literacy and computer.
- Recreation and fitness programs.
- Woodworking, sewing and crafts.
- Drama and music
- Volunteering in the community at the Red Cross, The Food Bank, and Brantwood Centre
