Crossing All Bridges Summer Sizzle Camp is an exciting summer program that provides adults living with varying abilities an active and fun summer. Summer Camp utilizes local community resources and provides planned activities that will contribute to and enhance their social, physical, and cognitive abilities, all while enjoying the fun of summer!
Activities
Summer Sizzle Camp is structured by offering three “themed” weeks each summer. All outings and activities are planned to align with each week’s theme which can include, but is not limited to, exploring farms, parks, museums and local attractions. Our weekly water excursions feature a mix of pools, splash pads, and outdoor water activities, allowing several opportunities to cool down and have fun during the hot summer days. Summer Sizzle Camp is designed to provide enough structure and support to allow our campers to be successful in the activities, while simultaneously letting them enjoy some memorable social connections.
Safety
Crossing All Bridges Learning Centre’s number one priority is safety. While attending Summer Sizzle Camp, CABLC will ensure there is an appropriate group leader to camper ratio.
Staff
All staff members and group leaders are carefully chosen for their experience and dedication to working with individuals with varying abilities. Our group leaders are trained and briefed on each camper to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer camp experience. All CABLC camp staff are CPR and First Aid Certified.
